Where is heater kit toggle mounted?2026-07-08T13:03:38+00:00

The location of the heater kit toggle switch depends on the seat model:

Convoy Seats: The heater toggle is integrated with the seat controls on the left side of the seat.
HD HINO and Refuse Seats: The heater toggle is integrated on the right side of the seat.

If you are installing a heater kit into a seat that was not originally equipped with one, the toggle switch can be mounted wherever is most convenient for your application. While many customers choose to mount it directly on the seat, it can also be installed on the dashboard, control panel, or another suitable location based on your vehicle layout and personal preference.

What is the difference between “Mid Back” and “High Back” Seats?2026-07-07T13:30:43+00:00

The main difference between mid-back and high-back seats is the height of the seat back and the level of upper-body support they provide.

Mid-Back Seats, such as our Refuse Truck Seat, extend to a few inches below shoulder height and provide comfortable support while allowing for greater upper-body mobility.

High-Back Seats, such as our Convoy Series and HD HINO Low Profile Suspension Seats, extend to shoulder height or higher and offer additional support for the shoulders, neck, and upper back.

The best option depends on your vehicle, application, and personal comfort preferences.
